Profitable meetings
The Municipal Administration of Gardone Val Trompia , in agreement with the local Pro Loco, brought together, over two evenings, the last on Monday, June 29, a group of associations, including hunting associations, political parties, local associations, and hunting gun manufacturers, to illustrate and share the strong desire for an annual event centered on the primary theme of hunting. The idea is to create an event, not a fair, that focuses on hunting, hunting guns, and rural life. It is envisioned to take place in May each year, spanning several days and locations, seeking to engage schools in the themes of nature and the local area.
Environmental and hunting issues
Federcaccia Provinciale, present at both evenings with Provincial President Giacomo Lanzini and Councilor Romano Bregoli, pledged their commitment to the idea, proposed involving the UNA Foundation to address the potential issue of wild meat menus, and proposed involving expert personnel to organize educational programs and a commitment to an annual national conference on environmental and hunting issues.
An idea of a route
Particularly interesting and thoroughly pragmatic was the speech by the representative of the Pedersoli Gunsmiths Consortium, who outlined a path forward and warned of the need to move quickly, as there is certainly much to do. Also present were the Province of Brescia, represented by Councilor Daniele Mannatrizio, and the Lombardy Region, represented by Regional Councilor Diego Invernici, who assured them of their respective bodies' interest and commitment (source: FIDC Brescia).
