The resolution
The Observatory of Wildlife and Related Habitats of the Republic of San Marino announces that, at today's meeting, a resolution was adopted extending the Multi-Year Wild Boar Wildlife and Hunting Management Plan for one year. In implementation of the Arengo motion recently approved by the Great and General Council, wild boar hunting using the "poccata" method is also suspended.
The common will
The discussions between the parties were characterized by a constructive and shared approach. A shared desire emerged to explore, with the necessary technical and scientific rigor, all the most suitable management methods to ensure the protection of the territory and the preservation of environmental balances.
Sustainable management
In the coming months, the new Wildlife and Hunting Plan will be drawn up, which will constitute the reference tool for the sustainable and respectful management of our country's wildlife and habitats (source: Secretariat of State for Territory).
