Not just a dog test
In the green heart of Massarosa, May 10th wasn't just a dog show. Something much bigger took place at the La Pieve dog track: a day that brought together passion, friendship and solidarity Under the same sunlit sky. Making all this possible was Gabriele Bertuccelli, a "pillar" of the FIdC Tuscany Youth Coordination Committee, a generous and tireless soul, supported by his wonderful family and a group of friends who, with dedication and heart, transformed a simple event into a memory destined to last a lifetime for all who participated.
Fundamental machinery
Authentic dog breeding, rooted in respect, sacrifice, and love for dogs, met the most beautiful face of solidarity. The event's goal was to support the "Piccole Stelle ODV" (Little Stars ODV) in purchasing a major piece of equipment for the Pediatrics Department of Versilia Hospital. A noble cause, so worthy that even the weather turned sunny. The support of the FIdC Toscana Youth Coordination Committee, the Federcaccia Toscana – Tuscan Hunters' Union, the Provincial Sections of Lucca and Massa, and the FIdC municipal branches of Montignoso, Viareggio, and Massa was crucial, helping make this day a true example of community and participation.
Donated shares
Many sponsors decided to participate, and many dog lovers chose to donate their entry fee even without participating in the trial. A simple gesture, but one of immense value, demonstrating how the heart can run faster than any ranking. And while it's true that the dogs were the stars of the day, providing excitement and a noteworthy final ranking, the greatest victory was another.
The victory of the doctors
The children won, receiving tangible support through this event. The doctors present at the event and the awards ceremony also won, including Giovanni Suriano, head of the pediatric department at Versilia Hospital. The association "Le Piccole Stelle ODV," represented by its director, Franca Giugni, won. Gabriele and his family won, giving their all and receiving in return the sincere embrace of everyone present. And everyone who, with their presence, a donation, or simply their enthusiasm, transformed a dog trial into something wonderfully human, won. Because there are days that end at sunset... and others that live on in people's hearts (source: Federcaccia).
