Fundamental workouts
October 8th is almost upon us and, in less than a week, the Italian Olympic Trench Teams and Skeet They will depart for Malakasa, a town located about 40 km from Athens, to compete in the race for world medals. With time running out, every minute of training becomes crucial to perfecting the details that will allow our athletes to best express their talent and skills on the platform.
The summons
The Technical Director of Skeet, Luigi Agostino Lodde of Ozieri (SS), has called the Italian athletes Valerio Palmucci (Fiamme Oro) of Fiano Romano (RM), Erik Pittini (Fiamme Oro) of Sutrio (UD), Gabriele Rossetti (Fiamme Oro) of Ponte Buggianese (PT) and Simona Scocchetti (Esercito) of Tarquinia (VT) to the Tav Moschettieri del Nera (TR), from September 29th until late yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 1st October, for a technical preparation meeting in view of the world championship.
The next events
Skeet will kick off on October 9th, first with official training sessions and then with competitions, which will continue until the 12th, the day of the finals. Official Olympic Trench training sessions will begin on the 14th, with competitions scheduled for the 15th, 16th, and 17th, concluding with the finals (source: FITAV).
