A protocol of great importance
Last October 22nd, at the headquarters of the CNSAS Lombardo in Lecco, the collaboration protocol was signed between the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps and the Alpine Hunting District of the Lecco Prealps and Alps.
Close collaboration
The agreement, which is experimental in nature and will last for one year—as announced by the FIDC—will be applied to the hunting grounds of the Prealps and Lecco Alps and will involve the Valsassina-Valvarrone Station. Collaboration between the two associations is envisaged, if necessary, in mountain search operations for missing persons, with CAC members being activated as local experts during the search phase.
The importance of hunters
“Knowledge of the locations and the ability of hunters to move around in areas frequently affected by searches (for example, those frequented by mushroom hunters) can offer a useful contribution to the CNSAS.”
