The opening of the hunting season 2017-2018 in Liguria is getting closer and closer: in five days, Sunday 17 September 2017, it will be possible to withdraw wild boars, common hares, wild rabbits, quail, turtle doves, red partridges, partridges, mallards, lapwings, moorhens and other birds, including the snipe. Pending the start of the hunt, in the next 48 hours theTerritorial area of hunting of La Spezia has decided to proceed with the introduction of pheasants and partridges.
Going into more detail of these operations, during the day tomorrow (Wednesday 13 September) we will be entering 1860 pheasants. The territory is the one that includes the Val di Magra, the Val di Vara and also the Cinque Terre area. The pheasants for various municipalities of the Ligurian province will be 30, while for others the quota will be even higher: for example, the highest number will be up to Varese Ligure, to be precise 100 pheasants (in other locations there will be 90).
In two days, Thursday 14 September, the La Spezia ATC will authorize the entry of 500 partridges, specifically in Val di Vara. It will be about 500 crates of 10 animals each: 130 partridges will be placed in Zignago, while 100 in the municipal area of Varese Ligure. The La Spezia hunting activity will therefore begin with a robust “contribution”.
