Hunting: Liguria, the proposal for the Hunting Calendar valid for the 2015/2016 Hunting Season has been approved by the Regional Council, here are the news.
The proposed resolution was unanimously approved Hunting Calendar regional for the 2015/2016 season. Article 34, paragraph 4, regional law 1 July 1994, n. 29 (Regional regulations for the protection of homeothermic fauna and for hunting). The document was submitted to the preliminary opinion of the Regional Wildlife-Hunting Commission composed, among other things, of members of the environmental protection, hunting and agricultural associations, and of the Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA), which provided a substantially positive opinion. The Calendar follows last year's calendar with few variations. Among the innovations introduced, the extension of the hunting activity until February 10, in compliance with the maximum time frame provided for by national legislation, for the black crow, hooded crow, magpie, jay and wood pigeon species. There turtle dove hunting it is carried out in September and exclusively in the form of stalking, taking into account the indications of the ISPRA. Again in accordance with the indications of Ispra, as regards the daily game bag of the wood pigeon, in the period from 1 to 10 February, it is limited to five animals per day. The maximum daily game bag is introduced for the wood pigeon (15 head), wild rabbit (2 head), fox (1 head) species.
Again on the advice of Ispra, the limitation of the two additional hunting days from stalking to the migratory was confirmed, in the period from 1 October to 30 November, to only 5 migratory species (wood pigeon, blackbird, song thrush, redwing and cesena), instead of all huntable migratory species. It should also be emphasized that the closure of the turdidae hunt was set not on January 20, as last year, but on January 31, according to an amendment presented to the commission by Francesco Bruzzone.
