Change to regional provisions
Ok to collect already injured and potentially dangerous wild boars, even after the daily closing time of hunting activity. This was established by the legislative assembly of Liguria approving the amendment of the regional councilor of the League and president of the III regional commission for Productive Activities, Sandro Garibaldi, according to which the regional provisions on hunting are modified in order to prevent the risks associated with the dispersion of ungulates (wild boars) injured in hunting hunting.
Public safety
“The document was adopted by the Liguria Region for reasons of health risk, given and considered the extension of African swine fever in our territory, for the protection of public safety and road traffic safety – explains Garibaldi – The culling and the recovery of already injured wild boars can therefore be carried out after communicating to the territorial hunting areas or territorially competent Alpine Comprehensives and to the regional police".
Qualified hunting dogs
“Furthermore, I would like to remind you that to search for already injured wild boars we use hunting dogs certified by work trials organized by the National Italian Dog Breeding Institute (ENCI) and handlers in possession of a qualification issued by the Liguria Region or by the Ligurian Provinces after educational course and passing an exam" concludes the Northern League councilor.
