The situation in Piedmont
Outbreaks have remained stable at 9 in pig farms. In Piedmont, no new positive cases have been observed in wild boars. The regional total remains at 803, so there's some relief to be had.
Ligurian concerns
In Liguria, four new positive cases have been detected in wild boars: two in the province of Genoa, one in Campomorone (four total), one in Zoagli (three); two in the province of La Spezia, one in Carro (the first case), and one in Rocchetta di Vara (thirteen). The total in the region has risen to 1.236 cases. With the new case in Carro, the number of municipalities with at least one positive case of African Swine Fever has been observed rises to 195.
