Hunting: Liguria, the Franceasco Bruzzone takes sides in defense of the use of live decoys in hunting, opposing the proposal of the M5S to ban their capture and use.
"Once again, Italy proves to be subject to the bureaucrats of Europe, who want to come and rule in our house, without any respect for the territory". This is how Francesco Bruzzone, hunter and group leader of the Northern League in the Regional Council of Liguria, comments on the news concerning the presentation of an amendment by the 5 Star Movement to the text of the bis community law, aimed at introducing the prohibition on the capture and use of live calls for hunting. An amendment that, given the declarations of Minister Galletti, risks being welcomed favorably by the government majority. “This news leaves us astonished: this would happen as a result of undue Community pressure, in absolute disregard of the respective institutional roles and the principle of mutual, loyal collaboration. What happened to national sovereignty? Once again, we would like to flatten the richness and variety of European rural cultures only for an arbitrary request from the EU Commission bureaucrats ”, says Bruzzone.
“Italian laws are already obsequious to the EU directives on the subject and anyone who says otherwise is lying shamelessly. This amendment promoted by the M5S is an affront, which is why I wrote to the relevant parliamentarians of the Northern League and to the group leader Giorgetti, so that they strongly oppose. It is time to say enough to the interference of this Europe that only damages national sovereignty, to the servility of our policy towards the European Union, and to these instrumental attacks on hunting - the result of animalist fanaticism ", concludes Lega Nord group leader Francesco Bruzzone .
