Hunting: Liguria, the Regional Council discussed the establishment of the wildlife oasis planned in the territory between Punta Manara and Punta Baffe.
Meeting with the environmental protection, territory and traditions committee. During the suspension of the session, a meeting was held between the group leaders, the Councilor for the Environment Renata Briano and the environmental protection, territory and traditions committee of Sestri Levante, Moneglia, Casarza Ligure, Castiglione Chivarese. The meeting - chaired on behalf of the President of the Regional Council Michele Boffa by the secretary councilor Francesco Bruzzone - was also attended by the directors Roberto Bagnasco (FI), Ezio Chiesa (Mixed group - Liguria Viva), Gino Garibaldi (Ndc), Alberto Marsella Marsella ( Rights and freedoms), Edoardo Rixi (Northern Liguria-Padania League), Aldo Siri (Civic lists for President Biasotti).
Among the representatives of the committee were some mayors who wore the tricolor sash. The committee disputes the establishment of a wildlife oasis between Punta Manara and Punta Baffe. In particular, he protested that for its creation, foreseen by the fauna plan of the Province of Genoa, the opinion of the mayors and the inhabitants had not been duly taken into account. According to some of the speakers, the establishment of the oasis would place further limits on hunting activities and would not help the development of tourism in the area.
Councilor Briano announced that a meeting with the provincial administration will be held tomorrow to examine the matter and stated that the establishment of the oasis does not limit the exercise of hunting.
