Election event
As reported in a press release from the ANSA news agency, Agriculture Minister Francesco Lollobrigida made an important statement regarding the reform of Law 157 of 1992 on hunting, speaking during an electoral event in the Aosta Valley.
An ancient law
These are his words: "You've seen the storm over the 157, which we're reforming. It's a law from 1992, which is outdated, more than 30 years old, and beyond any possibility of regular enforcement, and we're reviewing it. And those who shout, those comedians who go on television to tell jokes about the government, won't stop us, because people won't listen to them."
Exceptional damage
This is a fact. And because we need to address some existing critical issues: wild boars, the ungulates that devastate the land, including agricultural land, cause exceptional damage that costs us in terms of production and even road accidents.
