It is usually said that "there is no two without three", but theLombard Hunters Association hopes that there will not be a third postponement after the previous ones related to themeeting with the Minister of the Environment, Gianluca Galletti. The appointment scheduled in three days, Wednesday 19 October 2016, remains confirmed and will take place in Roma, at the department of Via Cristoforo Colombo. MEPs will also be present Lara Comi e Renata Briano for what is called a technical meeting, as well as a necessary step.
The next stage will consist of contact Brussels directly, namely the Commissioner for the Environment. ACL expects nothing from the meeting with Minister Galletti, also because "This government has shown several times that it does not move a step on the hunting discourse".
So far, the justification of European infringements has always prevailed, but last week several MEPs (including Comi and Briano) presented a question to the Commission on the "Non role" of ISPRA. Rome will not miss the number one Lombard hunter, Charles Bravo, ready to deliver to the minister a document with the requests that deserve answers. In case of silence, ACL will be ready to go with a new striking initiative.
