Le Lombard hunting associations represented here invite their members to participate in the parade and in the authorized demonstration in Brescia for Friday 22 October, organized to ask for respect in the control and inspection activities. The checks carried out by the SOARDA Forestry Carabinieri, usually accompanied by nurture hordes of volunteers, it seems that they often exceed the very limits of inspection activities commensurate with the types of crime sought and with the behavior of the controlled hunter - often alone - who, at first frightened and intimidated by such a deployment of forces, then feels himself an impotent victim of disputes to which has no right of reply (not even in court).
Unfortunately, in the checks carried out by hunters, a fervor is perceived that has little to do with the objectivity and measure that should be typical of Police. This is singular when the investigations in Brescia on live recalls are evaluated by parameterizing them with the (hardly perceptible) effort made to shed light on the acts of damage and violence suffered by hunters and - above all - to prevent further acts of violence. Except in cases, although there will be, of the discovery of decoys equipped with visibly irregular and removable rings and which rightly must be contested, to date there are cases of seizures of decoy bred and ringed in this same 2021 by the same controlled hunters, to which even in some cases it has been reached that the irregularity of the ring was not contested (new and perfectly compliant with the measures and visibly not modified and absolutely immovable), but that the recall might not have been born this year, with consequent kidnapping.
Except that - as a matter of practice and to avoid having to guard the call while keeping it alive - following the seizure the ring is removed (cutting it), the call released, and for the hunter it becomes definitively impossible to prove the regularity of the ring (now compromised) and regain possession of the call. Unfortunately, it is being created in Brescia an intimidating climate that also undermines the just and correct relationship that should exist between citizens and police forces deputies to controls: it has reached the point that hunters are afraid to go hunting. The Hunting Associations are not opposed to the control activity, but they believe that during the same it must always be borne in mind that the cacciatore it is carrying out an activity that is not only lawful, but is also the subject of a state and regional concession.
Unfortunately many hunters are starting to think that they respect the rules it is not enough to exercise one's passion because by now they feel powerless in the face of the discretion applied in the controls which result in the seizure of live warnings even legitimately detained and used. Which, frankly, seems intolerable in a state of law, such as ours would pretend to be. On Friday the representatives of the Associations in delegation they will go to the competent Authorities, but in the procession and in the square the presence of many Hunters would be important, gathered civilly and orderly, present to demonstrate with respect for the uniform that as citizens we have not only hunting, but in all our daily jobs. The same respect that we would like the Police Forces to use towards us, as Citizens who are exercising an activity recognized by the State (Federcaccia - Lombard Hunters Association - Anuu Migrators - FreeCaccia National Association - Italcaccia - ArciCaccia - Hunting Fishing Environment).
