Regarding the issue of identifying mountain passes and their closure to hunting, we note a clear and important position from the Conference of Lombardy Mountain Communities . Criticizing the decision of the Milan Regional Administrative Court, Conference President Maffezzini refers to the "consolidated relationship between the hunting and rural worlds and local communities, declaring this an important resource for achieving shared objectives of protection, biodiversity preservation, and environmental improvement."
