I dettagli
Lombardy region has approved the hunting calendar for the 2025/2026 season. This was communicated by the Councilor for Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry Alessandro Beduschi. The regional calendar is made up of several acts: a resolution of the Regional Council that contains the integrative provisions common to the entire regional territory and the specific territorial ones, as well as the integrative weekly days of hunting from a fixed hide in the months of October and November and a decree, so-called 'reductive', which provides for reductions in the collection of some species of avifauna in an unfavorable state of conservation.
Suspensions and Readmissions
The hunting season will start on Sunday 21 September 2025 and will end on 31 January 2026. It is worth highlighting the suspension of hunting for the fighting duck, lapwing and turtle dove species, and the readmission of hunting for the tufted duck species. At the level of the individual provincial territories, hunting activity is also defined by the decrees with which the competent Directors of the Agriculture, Forestry, Hunting and Fishing structures provide, for the territories of competence, the possible advance or postponement of the hunting season for certain species as well as selective hunting for ungulates, in collective forms for wild boar and typical Alpine fauna.
Technical-scientific rigor
"A detailed and complex document - commented Beduschi - for which the offices have committed themselves to a varied theme, producing documentation with technical-scientific rigor and without any ideological preconceptions. We have tried to produce a balanced calendar that, in continuity with what was done last year and considering compliance with the publication deadlines set by law 157, can lead to a stable hunting season". "We want to guarantee hunters - concluded Beduschi - to carry out their activity in a calm manner and with legal certainty, in compliance with the requests for the protection of wild fauna and its sustainable hunting use". All the details of the calendar will be available on the Burl and on the Lombardy Region portal starting tomorrow, Wednesday 11 June. (Source LNews)
