In the heart of Lombardy, in Melzo, an intensive and specialized course will be held aimed at those who wish to become qualified operators in control of ungulatesThe event, scheduled for Tuesday, September 9th, and Friday, September 12th, starting at 20:00 PM, responds to a growing need to effectively and legally manage the presence of certain wildlife species.
Wild animals to explore further
The course, conducted in accordance with the Lombardy Region's Dduo directives of June 24, 2019, no. 9159, is specifically designed for species such as chamois, roe deer, red deer, wild boar, fallow deer, and mouflon. The goal is to provide the skills necessary to operate safely and in compliance with current regulations.
The program
The five-hour training program covers several key aspects:
Regulations: National and regional regulations relating to wildlife control will be illustrated.
Instrumentation: The use of control instruments and the procedures to be followed will be explored in depth.
Safety: Particular attention will be given to safety regulations during containment activities.
Land Management: The management of areas suitable and unsuitable for wild boar will be addressed.
The course is aimed at an audience of professionals and enthusiasts, including licensed operators, wildlife technicians, and hunters involved in control activities.
