The sentence
Hunting calendars have been unforgettable for some time now. Unfortunately, the meaning of the adjective is not positive and this has been confirmed in recent days, as announced by the LAC. Here is what was published by the League for the Abolition of Hunting: “Published the ruling of the Council of State (VI section) n. 9379 regarding the hunting calendar approved by the regional council of Lombardy for the past season 2021/22".
General opening of the hunting season
The note continues: “In response to the LAC appeal, for the administrative judges it is illegitimate to approve the regional hunting calendar in September, that is, a few days before the general opening date of hunting, despite the deadline of June 15 (although not expressly qualified as peremptory) set by state law, due to violation of the principles of logic connected to the necessary prior knowledge of the resolution by the interested parties”.
The sentences in detail
LAC then added: “Furthermore, the Lombardy Region, in relation to the 2021/22 regional hunting calendar “should have addressed each element of the opinion of the Higher Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA), comparing it with its own elements, but not to give uncritical prevalence to the latter, but rather for a specific comparison in light of the principles of precaution and environmental protection”. The counterparties (Lombardy Region, in addition to the hunting associations Federcaccia, Enalcaccia, ANLC, ANUU) were sentenced to pay LAC – Lega Abolizione Caccia a total of 6.000 euros in addition to the legal accessories.
