Hunting: Lombardy, the Council of State rejected the appeal of the LAC therefore the exercise of hunting with live calls can continue. Satisfaction of the commissioner Fava.
“Yesterday the Council of State rejected the appeal of the Anti Hunting League for the precautionary suspension of the resolution of the Lombard junta on live recalls. Lombard hunters who practice stalking will therefore be able to continue hunting live calls until the end of the year ”. The news was given by the Councilor for Agriculture of Pirellone Gianni Fava who expressed "satisfaction with a decision that promotes the political and administrative work of the Agriculture Department in fact and in law". No region, except Lombardy, has been able to open the roccoli and allow the capture of live animals. In light of the order of the Council of State and a few days after a meeting in Brussels with Pia Bucella, director of the Natural Capital office of the Directorate General for the Environment of the European Commission, Councilor Fava has decided to convene for Tuesday 14 October in Palazzo Lombardia all hunting associations to take stock of the issue of hunting management in the region.
"For the third time, the Anti Hunting League sees its legal initiatives rejected - comments Fava - I hope that at this point the idea that Lombardy proceeds in compliance with the rules and that the courtrooms should not be congested by mere ideological requests, as far as everyone can freely express their thoughts ".
