The Court of the Ligurian city has in fact acquitted a man who had been accused of having fed wild boars near his riding stables despite the ordinances that prohibited feeding of this type. The prosecution had also demanded the payment of a fine of 500 euros, the typical fine foreseen in situations of this kind.
Removal of wild animals
The reconstruction, however, was very different and the defense's theory prevailed. In fact, the man was forced to feed his horses, an activity that required the removal of wild boars present in the area. To achieve this, therefore, the defendant provided food to the wild boars, distracting them from their intentions.
No environmental guard
The ungulates had begun to follow his path insistently, which is why foraging had been the only viable option. Moreover, as the man's lawyer revealed, there were no environmental guards present to prevent the problem.
