Responsible management
In a note, the Honorable Maria Cristina Caretta of Fratelli d'Italia, Vice President of the Agriculture Commission in Montecitorio, spoke of the wolf management in our country, always a very hot and multifaceted topic: "After years of requests and reminders, thanks to the Meloni Government, we have managed to obtain the downgrading of the wolf species, opening the doors to responsible management of the wolf, guaranteeing its coexistence with humans.".
Data now out of date
Caretta then added: “The first step towards effective management necessarily involves a census of the species' presence in the area. It's impossible to devise a strategy if the available censuses date back to the 70s.".
