Possible extensions
At the invitation of the Hunting Councilor Andrea Maria Antonini, the Marche hunting associations met to talk about the Hunting Calendar 2023/2024. In addition to the representatives of the hunting associations (Fidc, Anlc, Enalcaccia, Anuu, Italcaccia, Arcicaccia....) the managers of the Forestry and Wildlife Hunting Policies Sector of the Region were present. There was talk of the possibility of extending the harvesting of woodcock and turdid fish to 31 January, in the wake of the choices approved or in the process of being approved by other Regions such as Puglia and Basilicata.
The limitations imposed by the TAR
Arci Caccia Marche, represented at the meeting by the Regional President Gabriele Sperandio, appreciated the Region's commitment in trying to remedy the limitations imposed by the TAR Ruling last September, but did not expect anything else than what was decided, i.e. , that it is not possible to overcome the decisions imposed by the TAR to avoid incurring civil, criminal and tax liabilities, especially with respect to the managers who should have signed the documents.
No to demagogy
Arci Caccia, above all with respect to the history that has always distinguished the Association, with seriousness and respect for the rules and people, taking note of the foreseeable decisions taken by the Marche Region, has avoided and will avoid engaging in demagoguery, therefore, sending messages or assuming positions useful only to deceive and fool hunters (source: Arci Caccia).
