Woodcocks and thrushes
Will the hunting world understand that the season of ambiguity is over? Councilor Antonini has communicated to the Hunting Associations of the Marche that the regional legislative office "has expressed an opinion that clearly excludes the Marche Region from the case of Regions to which the legislative innovation on the financial law would be applicable" and that, therefore, in light of this opinion, the Regional Council today has decided to close the hunting of woodcock on December 31st and redwing, song thrush and fieldfare on January 9th in compliance with the provisions of the TAR Marche with ruling 346/2024.
The amendment approved
Unfortunately, this, in our opinion, confirms the total instrumentality of the amendment recently approved by Parliament with the Budget Law, so much praised by Hunting Associations, foundations, etc., which, net of everything, either do not know what they are talking about or lie knowing they are lying. This, like those Hunting Associations of the Marche that preferred "everything by January 31" to obtain the most restrictive thing they could have.
ISPRA's opinion
The regional president of Arci Caccia Marche Gabriele Sperandio together with Osvaldo Veneziano had with their own press release, in the last few days, already strongly contested the amendment with which the majority was about to modify the legislation on hunting calendars. We can comment: we were right in asking for the correct application of national and European regulations and to always take into due account the opinion of ISPRA. Will the hunting world understand to close the season of ambiguities? (source: Arci Caccia).
