The Councilor for hunting the Marche region Mirco Carloni has issued an ordinance, signed by the President of the Acquaroli Region, which extends the delivery of badges to 12 April and allows the performance of hunting activities, census activity and dog training also in the red and orange areas: “Dear Hunting Associations
Unfortunately, the growth of the contagion in the Marche Region is now known, this trend has determined the limitations imposed by the "Orange zone" which affects the territory of the provinces of Ascoli Piceno, Fermo and Pesaro and Urbino and the "red zone" in which the provinces of Ancona and Macerata.
Despite the delicacy of the contingent moment and within the limits of the regulatory framework, the importance of hunting and its forms of implementation has led us to issue an ordinance which provides, by way of derogation, to travel to carry out the following activities. To hunters residing in the Marche region it is allowed to move from one's residence / domicile, even when falling within an area classified as "orange" or "red", for:
carry out selection hunting for wild boar and / or deer in order to reach the hunting area in which they have been authorized (Management District o Wildlife Farm or Agri-tourism hunting);
deliver the remains or biological samples of the ungulates in the designated locations (carcass treatment points or ASUR);
carry out the recovery of injured ungulates;
carry out the censuses of ungulates, according to the modalities that will be indicated by the ATCs to which they belong;
carry out activities of training / dog training in the specific authorized areas (LR 7/95 art. 33) and identified by the DGR. 99 of 8 February 2021.
Furthermore, the deadlines for the return of the hunting card to the ATC, which were expected by 12 March, have been extended until 2021 April 12.
I would like to inform you, therefore, that with theordinance of the President of the Region adopted, the exercise of hunting and dog training, albeit in compliance with all the precautions against COVID19, can resume its normal course starting from Saturday 6 March ".
