THEVenetian Hunters Association (ACV), CONFAVE (Confederation of Italian Hunting Associations), the non-profit Foundation for Rural Culture and the Association for the Promotion and Defense of Rural Culture have invited citizens to a meeting on one of the topics that are being talked about the most in recent days. The meeting, which will take place next 22th April at 20:30 pm at the Parish Center of Santa Maria Assunta in Marostica (in the province of Vicenza), will serve to investigate the question of safety, of the self-defense and legality.
The title of the appointment suggests the topics that will be addressed: "How to best protect our safety, our families and our assets". He was also invited Sergio Berlato, regional councilor of Veneto and president of the Third Permanent Council Commission. Berlato made headlines a few weeks ago to propose the introduction of the crime of disturbance and harassment of hunting in the Criminal Code, an initiative that has aroused some interest.
Self-defense in one's own home is a current topic after the bill of Italy of Values to eliminate negligent excess in case of housebreaking. You can sign in many Italian municipalities and there are also those who have proposed legal assistance in the case of a citizen sued with precisely these accusations.
