“I am extremely satisfied with today's approval of the bill of which I am proudly the first signatory. This bill harmonizes Regional Law 26/1993 with the new national legislation, puts an end to a period of appeals, and allows us to return to balanced hunting planning,” declared Lega Regional Councilor Floriano Massardi, President of the Agriculture, Mountains, and Forestry Commission, and first signatory of PDL 134 approved today [6 October, ed.].

"Today marks the conclusion of a collaborative effort with our representatives in Parliament, which clarifies, without any interpretative uncertainty, the identification of the mountain passes crossed by the most significant migration routes. I thank all the center-right parties in the Regional Council for supporting the bill, as well as Federcaccia Lombardia and Attorney Lorenzo Bertacchi for their invaluable technical support in drafting the proposal approved today," Massardi continued.

"The facile, yet unreasonable, ideological oppositions of a certain armchair left have finally been dismantled: the hunting world, in fact, is the guardian of ancient traditions, protects the rural-mountain landscape, and preserves biodiversity with great attention to the territory, also from an economic standpoint," concludes Massardi.
