Uniformity of intent
Renewed trust in the President and the outgoing Presidency Council - the latter confirmed in the expressions of the territorial representatives, slightly updated in the designated representatives - which establishes that spirit of unity and sharing of objectives and programs which also in this electoral round has characterized that democratic process of comparison and synthesis that always characterizes the associative life of the Federation. A uniformity of intent demonstrated by the presentation to the assembly of the provincial presidents gathered to express their vote representing the over 200 thousand members, of a single list, an expression of a cohesion capable of expressing valid candidates without wasting ideas and energy. It will therefore still be Massimo Buconi to lead the Italian Hunting Federation for the next five years, garnering esteem and trust for the ideas and commitment made daily in these years which have seen him at the top of the oldest and still representative national hunting association.
Other roles
Together with the President, the team that supported him in the mandate just concluded has been confirmed, which saw only some shared rotations within the same regional representations. They will thus accompany the work of the highest national manager with the role of vice presidents Mauro Cavallari, Lombardy; Giuseppe Giordano, Calabria; Marco Salvadori, Tuscany. They are joined with the role of Presidential Councilor Mario Basile, Puglia; Andrea Ferrara, Campania; Paolo Pini, Emilia-Romagna; Aldo Pompetti, Lazio; Oscar Stella, Veneto. “I thank the assembly who wanted to show me and the list presented their trust in the choices and results achieved in past years and equally in the objectives we have set ourselves for the next ones” – declared Massimo Buconi – “As I did in 2019 just elected, I particularly thank our municipal sections, a network of men and women of all ages who, with the coordination and help of the Provincials and Regionals, are the first bulwark in the territory not only to represent our Federation and to keep the our flag, but to protect the entire hunting world".
Love for the environment and nature
“In these years, which have not been easy not only for hunting but in many respects for all citizens – continued the President – our managers, our entire structure and our members have demonstrated to society, bodies and institutions the spirit of solidarity and seriousness that characterizes hunters. I am thinking of Covid, but also of the emergency in Romagna, of the many initiatives where civil and social commitment go hand in hand, demonstrating love for the environment and nature on many occasions throughout the territory or even just, more simply, practicing our passion with attention, respect and measure". “Seriousness, concreteness and constant attention to the needs of hunters and society as a whole have made it possible to strengthen the perception of the Federation as a serious and reliable voice, a reliable interlocutor for the institutions and a point of reference for enthusiasts. Credit also goes to the constant and fruitful work of the Studies and Research Office both from a scientific and legal point of view, which is fundamental for countering administrative appeals and legal disputes. An aspect in which we will invest further human and economic resources” he added.
Work and commitment
“In the mandate just concluded, my commitment was also aimed at promoting the aggregation and growth of new and fresh energies, and at increasing my presence on social media and the media, not only addressing hunters but all citizens. A lot of work, a lot of commitment, in Rome and throughout the territory, from North to South. The road is still long, but the results demonstrate that the direction is the right one. We will follow it with conviction, knowing that we can count on the commitment of all our Presidents and Managers at any level, to make our Federation grow even further and ensure hunting and hunters have the role and respect they deserve" concluded the new re-elected National President. The continuation of an increasingly demanding program is therefore underway, just as the challenges awaiting the hunt are increasingly demanding and from which this management group has already demonstrated that it does not shy away and which in the coming days it will begin to face again with renewed vigor (Office Press Italian Hunting Federation).
