The topic discussed
Federcaccia Umbra, in collaboration with Federcaccia Nazionale, always committed to promoting active and sustainable hunting management, is organizing a meeting on a highly relevant topic that closely concerns our activity and its relationship with the local area and other human activities. The topic will be "Nature Restoration Law "Environment, Agriculture, and Hunting Together to Revitalize Territories" will take place next Monday, December 15, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM in the prestigious Sala della Vaccara, on the steps of Palazzo dei Priori, Piazza IV Novembre, Perugia. The conference aims to provide an important opportunity to better understand the implications of the Law on Environmental Protection and Land Use Planning; to affirm the irreplaceable role of hunters as environmental managers, active in habitat restoration; and, finally, to lay the foundation for creating and strengthening concrete synergies between the hunting community, agricultural associations, and environmental protection agencies.

Given the importance of the topic being addressed, which, while presented at a regional level, has national relevance, and the relevance of the speakers' presentations, it will be possible to follow the conference remotely. The meeting, moderated by Marco Ramanzini, Head of Press and Communications for FIdC Nazionale, will feature speakers including Riccardo Vescovi, Vice President of the Province of Perugia and Councilor of the Municipality of Perugia, and Maurizio Lorenzini, President of Federcaccia Umbria.
The reports and conclusions
Presentations will be given by Michele Bottazzo and Daniel Tramontana, from the Federation's Wildlife and Agri-Environmental Studies and Research Office. This will be followed by remarks by Albano Agabiti, President of Coldiretti Umbria; Fabio Rossi, President of Confagricoltura Umbria; Matteo Bartolini, President of CIA Umbria; and Diego Contini, Vice President of ODAF PG – the Federation of Agronomists and Foresters of Umbria. The closing remarks, in addition to Massimo Buconi, National President of Federcaccia, will be given by Simona Meloni, Councilor for Agricultural and Agri-food Policies of the Umbria Region, and Senator Claudio Barbaro, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security (source: FIDC).
