Richer agenda
The federal calendar continues its run without interruption and, with the weekend of transition between January and February, competitive activity enters a particularly intense phase. Alongside the progress of the Seasonal Territorial Championships, the agenda is in fact enriched by the first national federal event of the 2026 season: the Winter Club Cup of Percorso Caccia, ready to attract the attention of amateur specialty competitors.
Who will step on the platform?
On the regional front, local circuits are preparing for their busiest weekend since the beginning of the year. Athletes in Olympic Trench, Skeet, Compak Sporting, Universal Trench, and Propeller will compete on the platforms of 27 ASDs spread across 16 Italian regions. These are the highest numbers recorded so far in the 2026 season, confirming a vibrant movement and steadily growing participation.
National scenario
On the national scene, the Tav Olimpico Foligno (PG) will host the Winter Club Cup for Caccia Course, the first national federal event of 2026. Participation is open to all FITAV members, regardless of category, qualification, or specialty, in a competition consisting of 100 clays, to be completed in a single day between Saturday, January 31st and Sunday, February 1st. In the event of a tie, the series rule will apply to determine the overall ranking, based on the rounds played on the chosen course. This must be communicated to the Coordinator prior to the start of the competition.
Company team rankings
In addition to the individual competition, there will also be club team rankings, divided into two sections. Section A allows each club to field up to three teams of three shooters, with a limit of one Excellence shooter and two Category 1 athletes. Section B, again with a maximum of three teams per club, allows teams with a maximum of two Category 2 shooters and one Category 3 shooter. The top three finishers in each Category and Qualification will receive, along with the prize money, prestigious FITAV medals. The Foligno event will also have a specific seasonal significance: the competition counts towards the allocation of points for the National Compak Ranking, which at the end of the year will award the top finishers in all Categories and Qualifications with a trip to Italy. The results obtained by the club teams will also contribute to the penalty rankings which will determine, at the end of the season, the winners of the 2026 Absolute Club Cup (source: FITAV).
