He had a nasty car accident yesterday involving one of these rodents. Around 22:00 PM, while he was driving down a straight road, he saw one suddenly cross his path.
The dynamics of the accident
To avoid impact with the nutria, the young man swerved, losing control of the vehicle and going off the road. By pure chance, no other vehicles were approaching from the opposite direction. The driver was not physically injured, but unfortunately the car was destroyed, sustaining serious damage.
No hospitalization
Despite the ambulance's intervention on the scene, the victim did not require hospitalization. Highway Patrol officers then proceeded to perform the usual checks, with the car being recovered by the tow truck to allow local traffic to return to normal.
