Olympic Trap is preparing for one of the most intense and exciting weekends of the entire federal season. On Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th, four venues will host the 2026 Italian Individual Championship competitions, an event that will award the Italian Scudetti for the Excellence, First, Second, and Third categories, as well as the Ladies and Junior Qualifying events. The Excellence, Ladies, and Junior men's and women's competitions will take place on the platforms of the TAV G. Rosatti in Ponso (Padua). The specialists will compete over a distance of 125 qualifying clays, plus the ISSF formula finals. Participation is reserved for specialists who have earned the qualification bonus following the four seasonal Grand Prix events.
The TAVs involved
The winners will be awarded the Scudetto Tricolore, the title of Italian Champion 2026, FITAV medals, and prize money provided by the Federation. The Umbriaverde-Todi high-speed line in Massa Martana (PG) will host the First Category specialists, the La Torre high-speed line in PI for the Second Category specialists, and the Castellano high-speed line in Montecosaro (MC) will host the Third Category Tricolore event.
Second and third category
For the Second and Third Categories, the top six athletes at the end of the qualifications will advance to the finals, where they will shoot another round of 25 clays, the results of which will be added to their qualifying scores to determine the winners. Once again, the winners will receive the Scudetto, titles, medals, and federal prize money. For the Olympic Trap specialists, the time has come for the showdown. Ponso, Massa Martana, Crespina Lorenzana, and Montecosaro are ready to become the center of national clay shooting for two days and crown the new 2026 Italian Champions.
