Great opportunity
Sunday, January 18th, theASD TAV Sant'Uberto of Manoppello (PE) has opened the doors of its facility to newcomers and the curious, offering them the opportunity to explore the discipline of clay pigeon shooting and its sporting values. The "Open Doors" initiative was created with the goal of expanding the group of enthusiasts and promoting a deeper understanding of the sport. For the occasion, the Abruzzo-based club, led by President Marcella Olivieri, offered the expertise and availability of its technicians, who guided participants through the key aspects of this sport.
Practical test on the platform
The event was well attended, with over 80 participants, confirming the growing interest in clay pigeon shooting in the area. The day began with a brief theoretical introduction, followed by the most anticipated part: the practical test on the shooting range. Led by federal instructors, participants experienced firsthand the thrill of hitting their first clay.
Replays of the event
Also present was Guido Margiotta, the FITAV Abruzzo delegate, who actively participated in the initiative by testing his skills on the shooting ranges. Curiosity and enthusiasm pervaded the entire Open Day, a testament to the organizational commitment of the Sant'Uberto TAV company and confirming the effectiveness of similar initiatives. The positive response now paves the way for further replications of the event, with the goal of involving an ever-increasing number of people and fostering shared growth in the Abruzzo shooting movement (source: FITAV).
