The elections
Chaired by the National Presidency Councillor with Delegation to the Sectoral Activities Oscar Stella, the elective assembly of the was held yesterday, May 13th.UNCF - National Union of Hunters and Falconers, a branch of the Italian Hunting Federation. At the end of the meeting, Paola Falcone was elected as the new President, replacing Agostino Pasquariello. The entire Federation and the falconers he has represented extend their thanks to him.
Low-flying fighter
Paola Falcone, a native of Lazio, has been practicing falconry since 1990, particularly hunting goshawks and sparrowhawks, which are best suited for low-flying hunting in the hilly and wooded areas where she lives. Around the 2000s, she also became interested in high-flying falcons, such as the Sacred Gyrfalcon and the Peregrine Falcon, and began frequenting flying and hunting grounds outside Italy: Spain, France, and Germany.
Another great passion
Alongside her passion for falcons, she has an equally strong passion for training falconry dogs, particularly Brittanys, setters, and Italian pointers, which she uses for hunting. Professionally, the new UNCF President is a member of a Birds of Prey Center open to visitors and specializes in bird control. To her, our most sincere and heartfelt wishes and good luck from President Massimo Buconi, the Presidential Council, and everyone at Federcaccia.
