Il Ticino Valley Natural Park, the Piedmontese reserve located in eleven municipalities in the province of Novara, has organized a training course for dog operators to monitor woodcocks that overwinter in protected areas. The course will have the patronage of the Piedmont Region and was designed for woodcock hunters and dog lovers: obviously they must all be interested in the performance of the monitoring with the pointing dog.
The Novara park project serves precisely to study wintering birds and the admitted operators will be able to operate in two Piedmontese provinces, namely that of Novara and that of Vercelli (appurtenances of the natural area). The official dates have yet to be announced, but it is known for sure that the course will start next January.
The site chosen, on the other hand, is that of the Natural Park, that is Villa Pichetta in Cameri (province of Novara). To participate, registration is required, there is time until today, Tuesday 27 December 2016. You must send your name and telephone contact to the e-mail address [email protected].
