The meeting place
Last Sunday, June 23, at the Sant'Uberto shooting range in Manoppello in the province of Pescara - in the prestigious Iezzi family field -, the final of the Italian Federcaccia Championship Universal Trench under the careful supervision of the Federcaccia national coordinator for sport shooting Bruno Nobilini. A test of the highest technical level which in the end - in a climate of sportsmanship and mutual respect - saw the predominance of shooters from the Marche region, who won victories and podiums in various categories.
The final podium
In the "Veterans" category, a brilliant Eugenio Rinaldoni, with a mix of class and experience, won first place and the title of Italian champion with a remarkable 93/100. In the "Senior" category, Roberto Zallocco achieved the victory with a result of 97/100 and climbed onto the top step of the podium. In the "first" category the winner is Alessandro Lince with 93/100, followed by the winner of the "second" category, the Umbrian shooter Francesco Lattanzi, with a splendid 98/100 which also gives him the tie for best score of the day, and by Giuliano Barattini in third with 93/100.
Specialty titles
Of particular importance are the young winners of the "Excellence" and "Lady" categories - also both from the Marche region - Niccolò Triglia, also with the best score of the day with a tie of 98/100, and Valerya Sokha, who both graduated as Italian Champions with Giuseppe by Francesco in the “Junior” category. In the "hunters" category, Riccardo Smaniotto came out on top by a whisker, also winning the victory and the Italian specialty title. In the "shooting teams" category Triglia, Rinaldoni, Zallocco and Mancinelli won the victory by collecting a score of 380/400, and thus won the title of Italian Champions together with the "hunters" Smaniotto (Sandro and Riccardo), Lamon and De Rossi.
