The facts date back to June 2016 when a large group of animal rights activists interrupted one wild boar hunting trip in Piedmont, an authorized event held in a wildlife-hunting company, in Lenta, and accused of aggression, injury, threats and private violence towards part of the participants and members of the organization of the host company.
On the 29th day of this month the court of Vercelli (section II) expressed a sentence in the consequent criminal proceedings condemning as many as 11 of the activists accused to prison sentences ranging from 6 to 8 months, to the compensation of the damage in favor of the civil parties represented by the lawyer R. De Sensi quantifiable subsequently in a separate civil office. It is therefore evident that legally and criminally those who practice the activity in any of its manifestations have protections and rights and the "means" that can effectively counter threatening expressions and violent conduct as a duty and duty in every social sphere.
