Yesterday, Monday 26 September 2016, the Regional Council of Piedmont met in the presence of the governor Sergio Chiamparino: among the subjects under discussion there were the new rules for i management committees in hunting governance. What specifically was decided? The three resolutions proposed by the Councilor for Agriculture, Giorgio Ferrero, have determined a rationalization of the current Territorial Areas of Hunting and Alpine Areas. We are talking about 38 ATC and the council has chosen to merge the management committees down to a total of 22.
In addition, the internal management of these committees will be reorganized, reducing the members by 50%. The criteria for the appointment will also be new, with the aim of obtaining substantial savings from an economic-financial point of view. The current Areas are divided according to the province. To Alexandria the ATCs Val Cerrina and Casalese, Pianura Alessandrina, Val Curone-Borbera-Grue and Ovadese-Acquese are located.
For what concerns Astiinstead, there are the North Tanaro and South Tanaro ATCs; those of Biella there are two, namely Pianura and Collina Biellese and Alte Valli Biellesi. It then continues with Cuneo (Cuneo-Fossano, Savigliano, Roero, Alba-Dogliani, Cortemilia), Novara (Ticino and Sesia), Torino (Eporediese, Basso Canavese, Pinerolose, Carmagnola-Poirino and Collina Torinese), Verbano-Cusio-Ossola e Vercelli (Northern Vercellese Plain and Southern Vercellese Plain). The alpine areas, on the other hand, are located in the Cuneo area, in the Turin area, in Verbano-Cusio-Ossola and Vercelli.
