The appeal against the calendar
The Regional Administrative Court for Piedmont in the council chamber today, November 6, has pronounced the Ordinance regarding the appeal presented against the Regional hunting calendar accepting the precautionary request limited to the white partridge species.
Great satisfaction
The remainder of the request for precautionary measures is rejected and therefore the hunting of typical Alpine fauna – excluding the white partridge – and the tufted duck in the plains is resumed. Satisfaction for the result achieved was expressed by the Regional President of Federcaccia Guido Dellarovere and by the National President Massimo Buconi.
A quick reopening
In fact, Federcaccia had immediately constituted itself with its lawyers and had made available the work of the Studies and Research Office to allow a rapid reopening of hunting activity to all the species foreseen by the Piedmont Hunting Calendar. The TAR has set the public hearing for the discussion on the merits of the appeal for May 6, 2025 (source: FIDC).
