The Piedmont sections ofANUUMigrators, Italian Federation of Hunting, Enalcaccia, Game Producers and National Association of Free Hunting they sent a letter to the Regional Council. The purpose of the letter is to ask for the withdrawal of theAmendment 42 al Ddl amending the regional hunting law. The same hunting associations are ready to confront themselves in a constructive way.
In the letter addressed to the councilors, we speak of this text which provides for the black grouse and rock partridge hunting ban, thus preventing the hunting of the typical alpine fauna. According to the associations, the amendment is contrary to the constitutional rules that delegate to the State the exclusive legislative power with regard to the environment. A similar situation also arose in relation to ptarmigan, variable hare and lark.
The collaboration to be put in place, therefore, should be under the banner of the environment and biodiversity. The availability of all these bodies to a constructive and effective work table is there, now it will be necessary to see if the interests will be able to coincide. The final hope of the letter is that the new law on hunting in Piedmont can be born in total harmony and with spirit and contents that must necessarily be inspired by Law 157 of 1992.
