The new resolution
The Tuscany Region, with resolution 1394, has also approved this year the reciprocal agreements with the Regions of Umbria and LazioThis resolution defines the procedures for allowing exchanges between Tuscan hunters and those from the two aforementioned bordering regions. This will allow hunters to acquire twenty days of stalking for migratory birds by paying a fee of 35 euros using a special form.
Toscana
The Tuscany Region allows, as a priority, hunting in its territory to hunters coming from the Umbria Region with
the following methods:
– Priority acceptance of applications for registration in the Umbrian ATCs for hunters, up to a maximum of 700, within the limits established by the regulations for registration in the Tuscan ATCs. These registrations allow Umbrian hunters to hunt all species included in the hunting calendar in their chosen ATC.
starting from the date indicated in point A;
Interested hunters must submit an application to their chosen ATC within the deadlines established by regional legislation. Notification of admission to daily access and payment of the registration fee constitute proof of hunting rights;
– provision, upon reservation, of the daily places available pursuant to DPGR 36/R/2022 guaranteeing, if requested, a minimum of 1000 places reserved for Umbrian hunters, to be used in the Tuscan ATCs starting from 2 October until the end of the hunting season for the hunting of migratory game from
stakeout;
– it is established that, under a reciprocal agreement, for the 2025/2026 hunting season, Umbrian hunters who benefit from daily access equal to twenty days in total in Tuscany will pay a fee of 35,00 euros.
Umbria
The Region of Umbria allows hunters from Tuscany as a matter of priority, hunting on its territory in the following ways:
– Priority acceptance of applications for registration in the Tuscan Hunters' ATCs, up to a maximum of 700, within the limits of the reserved spaces established by the regulations for registration in the Umbrian ATCs. These registrations allow Tuscan hunters to hunt all the species listed in their chosen ATC;
Interested hunters must submit an application to the ATC Management Committee within the deadlines established by Regional Regulation 6/2008. Notification of admission and payment of the participation fee constitute proof of hunting rights;
– provision of 3.989 places, to be used by reservation, in the ATCs of Umbria by Tuscan hunters together with hunters from other regions with which similar agreements have been established, as follows: ATC no. 1 up to 1.580 places, ATC no. 2 up to 1.409 places, ATC no. 3 up to 1.000 places, for a maximum of 20 days of total hunting for migratory game from a hide;
– it is established that, under a reciprocal agreement, for the 2025/20265 hunting season, Tuscan hunters who benefit from hunting mobility in Umbria will pay a fee of 35 euros.
Lazio
The Lazio Region, in the relationships specified below, allows hunting in its territory to hunters coming from the Tuscany Region as a priority under the following conditions:
• Priority admission, within the limits established by the regulations for the registration of Tuscan hunters in a Lazio ATC, which is not a hunting residence. For such registrations as an additional ATC, the following provisions apply with regard to the first available hunting day: "in the event of coinciding opening hours, Tuscan hunters may access the Lazio Region ATCs starting from the third Sunday in September";
• Interested hunters must submit an application within the deadlines established by regional legislation. Notification of admission and payment of the registration fee constitute the right to practice hunting;
• provision of 965 daily places to Tuscan hunters, to be used for mobile hunting of migratory game from hides in the Lazio ATCs, starting from 1 October 2025 until the end of 31 January 2026, for a maximum of 18 days per hunter, subject to booking according to the attached technical protocol, prepared by the competent regional offices;
• it is established that, under a reciprocal agreement, for the 2025/2026 hunting season, Tuscan hunters who benefit from hunting mobility in Lazio will pay a fee of 35,00 euros (as established by the Lazio ATCs).
