Summer Regional Shooting Championships: Veneto sees the highest number of participants

The seasonal territorial championships recorded significant numbers in the second weekend of April

Solid calendar

The second weekend of April marked a new step forward for the FITAV Regional Summer Championships, which also featured non-Olympic disciplines. This event continues to be a key event for local activity, involving athletes and enthusiasts from across Italy and strengthening the spring calendar.

Compak Sporting Specialists

Over the weekend just ended, 232 Compak Sporting specialists took to the platform, spread across four facilities in as many regions: Piedmont, Sardinia, Umbria and Veneto.

TAV comparison

Veneto stood out for the highest number of participants, with 74 athletes competing in the Nuovo Borgo TAV (Vicenza). Umbria followed, with 70 athletes competing in the Foligno Olympic TAV (Perugia), and Sardinia, with 59 shooters competing in the Settimo San Pietro TAV (Cagliari). Piedmont rounded out the list, with 29 participants competing in the Carpignano Sesia TAV (Novara) (source: FITAV).
