Serious events
According to Asaps data (Association of Supporters and Friends of the Highway Police) from 2024, the road accidents involving wildlife are increasing in our country, with a 6% increase in serious events. This was reported by AB – Agrivenatoria Biodiversitalia.
Inaccurate counts
In reality, according to AB, accidents are much more common than one might think. In fact, only accidents that result in personal injury are recorded in our country. But the problem is actually much broader.
A very high cost
