News for hunters
Waiting for the pronunciation of Tar Sardinia, scheduled for next week, the Regional Wildlife Hunting Committee, on the proposal of the Councilor for Environmental Protection, Marco Porcu, in order to avoid interpretative doubts following the ruling of the Regional Administrative Court which suspended quail hunting, has the reintroduction of the species among those huntable from next Sunday (1 October) has been resolved.
A fourth day of hunting
“Considering the data and numbers relating to the killings reported in the first two days of hunting, relating to sedentary species (hare and partridge), I also proposed the inclusion of a fourth day of hunting, scheduled for Sunday 8 October. The proposal was accepted and approved by the Committee”, said councilor Porcu (source: Sardinia Region).
Appeals and TAR
As is known in the hunting sector, Sardinia is only one of the Italian regions that has to deal with animal-environmentalist appeals and administrative sentences that upset the calendars. It is hoped that with this provision we have put an end to a "soap opera" that frankly was not needed.
