Who are the marked subjects?
Two song thrushes marked in the Marche with satellite radio transmitter As of December 2024, they are still transmitting and providing us with information on their post-breeding movements. They are a male and a female, named Marilyn and Francis, who had arrived in eastern Siberia and Russia respectively to nest. Thanks to the device's proper functioning, they are still transmitting almost 11 months after their capture.

The attached maps show the movements in detail. The length of the routes taken and recent broadcasts confirm that the devices used are well tolerated by the thrushes and that the study method is valid.
The next moves
