Tomorrow's presentation
Saturday 4 February at 17:00 in the Sala Eden in Grosseto, at the Bastione Garibaldi in viale Alessandro Manetti 4, there will be the presentation and debate on the book "Il Patto coi Lupi" by A. Giorgio Salvatori. Wolves photographed and filmed everywhere. In the countryside but also in the cities. One was recently rescued from a stream in Verona and three wolf-like canids were filmed days ago, inside the city of Rieti, as they tried to prey on domestic animals. The book "Il Pact with Wolves", by A. Giorgio Salvatori, Innocenti Editore, on which the author and experts in fauna and history of the millennial and bipolar man-wolf relationship will therefore discuss it, is confirmed as highly topical.
A fascinating journey
From the Paleolithic to today, the author travels between these two distinct poles of attraction - repulsion that Canis Lupus has always exerted on man. History, nature, hunting, anecdotes and real life experiences come together in a plot that was judged original and new by the journalist Carmen Lasorella in her afterword to the book.
Participants
Together with the author A. Giorgio Salvatori, the mayor Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna, Dr. Giorgia Romeo, officer of the wildlife hunting activity of the Tuscany Region, Dr. Fioravante Serrani, university professor in forest ecology, the anthropologist Paolo Pisani, and the publisher Stefano Innocenti. A meeting not to be missed (source: FIDC).
