Francesco Bruzzone, senator of the League and vice-president of the Environment Commission in the Senate, announced the question he presented in recent hours to the Ministry of the Environment. Here are the declarations of the exponent of the Carroccio: “Last season the Ministry of the Environment had created problems on the pre-opening of the turtle dove hunt, on whose species the preparation of a national management plan is in progress.
At the moment, the same Ministry did not initiate the scheduled meetings: this situation obviously creates concern regarding the pre-opening next September. For this reason I thought it appropriate to present a question with the aim of avoiding unnecessary disputes and, even more, ministerial political actions against the legitimate activation of the turtle dove pre-opening by the regions concerned ”.
Bruzzone is also the manager of the Hunting Department of the League and these statements turn the spotlight on a species that had not been talked about for some time now. Just two weeks ago the same senator had announced another question regarding the revision of the so-called Key Concepts of the Birds Directive. Also on that occasion the addressee of the debate was the Ministry of the Environment.
