The best qualities of the sector
On the weekend of Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May the Sporting The Italian Grand Prix returned to prominence with the 4th Grand Prix of the 2026 racing season, held on the Tuscan stages of the Tav Laterina (AR). The event attracted 219 specialists from all over Italy, engaged in a new high-level challenge that highlighted the best qualities of the sector. In the Excellence Category, the top step of the podium, in addition to first place in the overall standings, was conquered by Michael Spada of Fabro (TR) with 95/100. Behind him were Davide Gasparini of Gabicce Mare (PU), silver with 94/100, and Cristian Camporese of Padova (PD), third with 93/100. In the Ladies Qualifying, victory went to Alessia Panizza of Lierna (LC) with 91/100. She was joined on the podium by Graziella Zambrino of Perugia, second with 79/100, and Veronica Bertoli of Gavardo (BS), third with 70/100.
The Junior podiums
Among the Juniors, the best result was that of Samuel Ligi of Fermignano (PU), winner with a score of 91/100. Second place went to Mattia Degli Antoni of Passirano (BS) with a score of 89/100, while third place went to Jacopo Adamati of Rovato (BS) with a score of 78/100. As for the First Category, Stefano Piccaro of Cisterna di Latina (LT) won with a score of 90/100, ahead of Fabrizio Puliti of Perugia, silver, and Roberto Risi of Serravalle Pistoiese (PT), bronze, both with scores of 85/100. Their rankings were determined by the rules of their chosen field. In the Second Category, gold went to Daniele Claudio Colombari from Lavagno (VR) with 89/100, ahead of Riccardo Monesi from Narni (TR), second with 88/100, and Luca Calò from Santa Maria a Monte (PI), third with 86/100.
Third Category
In the Third Category, victory went to Francesco Del Monte of Ameglia (SP) with 86/100, followed by Raffaele Desideri of Prato, second with 85/100, and Edoardo Brunelli of Cetona (SI), third with 81/100. Among the Seniors, first place went to Francesco Bordoni of Terni with 91/100, followed by Alessandro Gaetani of San Miniato (PI) with 89/100 and Giacomo Mori of Pomarance (PI) with 88/100. Among the Veterans, victory went to Mauro Bosi of Forlì (FC) with 90/100, ahead of Pier Luigi Fantozzi of Campiglia Marittima (LI), silver with 85/100, and Giovanni Provenzale of Rimini, bronze, also with 85/100. Finally, among the Masters, the best result was that of Fabio Daveri of Arezzo, winner with 79/100. Second place went to Giancarlo Ciofini from Perugia with 76/100, while the bronze went to Salvatore Valentini from Longiano (FC) with 73/100 (source: FITAV).
