The number has risen to 799 in Piedmont and to 1.178 in Liguria. Outbreaks in pig farms remain stable at 9.
800 metres neared in Piedmont
In Piedmont, two new positive cases have been observed in wild boars in the province of Alessandria: one in Grognardo (27 in total), and one in Morbello (39). The total in the region thus rises to 799 cases. No new outbreaks have been reported in pig farms in Piedmont.
Localities with at least one case of PSA
In Liguria, twelve new positive cases have been found in wild boars: three in the province of Genoa, all in Sant'Olcese (15); one in the province of Savona in Sassello (60); eight in the province of La Spezia, one in Calice al Cornoviglio (first positive case), one in Deiva Marina (first positive case), five in Rocchetta di Vara (eight), one in Sesta Godano (four). The total in the region has risen to 1.178 cases. With the cases found in Calice al Cornoviglio and Deiva Marina, the number of municipalities in which at least one positive case of African Swine Fever has been observed rises to 190.
