The total number of positive cases in wild boars has risen to 2.035. The number remains stable at 803 in Piedmont, rising to 1.232 in Liguria.
The situation in Piedmont
The number of outbreaks detected in pig farms remains at 9. In Piedmont, no new positive cases have been observed in wild boars. The total in this region therefore remains at 803.
The locations in detail
In Liguria, five new positive cases have been detected in wild boars: three in the province of Savona, one in Piana Crixia (the first case), two in Sassello (74); two in the province of La Spezia in Rocchetta di Vara (twelve). The total in the region rises to 1.232 cases. With the new case in Piana Crixia, the number of municipalities in which at least one positive case of African Swine Fever has been observed rises to 194.
