Second test of the season
With the weekend of Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th April, the federal calendar offers competitors and enthusiasts Compak Sporting A new round of the "Golden" Grand Prix, now in its second round of the season, will take place on the platforms of the Tav San Martino di Tavullia (PU). This event, of particular technical and competitive importance, not only for the number of launches, is destined to attract numerous specialists of the hunting course at an already significant stage of the season, who will compete for valuable points for the 2026 Ranking and qualification for the Top Ranking jump-off.
Long distance
For the higher categories, the Grand Prix is an opportunity to test themselves and compete for an international trip to Italy in 2027. For the remaining categories, it's a chance to compete in a long-distance competition and have fun practicing their passion for clay shooting on the range in a family-friendly environment that always highlights the healthy values of outdoor sport. The competition will be held over a total distance of 200 clays for all participants, divided into 100 throws on Saturday and the remaining 100 on Sunday. In the event of a tie for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each individual ranking, a mini-shootout of five consecutive one-shot clays will be held. Participation is open to FITAV members of all categories and qualifications.
Prize money up for grabs
In addition to the prize money provided by the Federation, FITAV medals are also up for grabs for the top three finishers. This weekend, the Regional Summer Championships will also be held in nine regions and at ten venues, featuring Skeet, Universal Trench, Helix, and Combined Shooting competitions (source: FITAV).
